The hospital is associated with the Manikganj Diabetic Association, which has a long-standing presence in the district. Historical records indicate that the association was established in 1988 and became affiliated with the Bangladesh Diabetic Association in 1995.

Our Journey

Manikganj Diabetic Hospital has evolved from a local diabetic care centre into a dedicated 50-bed hospital. In 2019, the facility was upgraded to a three-storey, 50-bed diabetic hospital to expand its capacity and improve healthcare access for people in the district.

The development of the hospital has played an important role in bringing specialized diabetic and related healthcare services closer to local communities. Previously, many patients requiring advanced diabetes-related care had to travel to Dhaka. The hospital's development has helped patients receive treatment closer to their homes and families.
